Negative of effects of being sleep deprived From the introduction of the research it talks about sleep which is an important element of the human body condition and if properly obtained can lead to effective performance from our dayto-day activities, but nowadays people tend to deprive themselves of getting enough sleep either by carrying out some activities like working late at night, student doing their assignment or research late at night. Sleep is very necessary and when not obtained we began to notice some depreciation in daily functions and activities of someone who’s sleep-deprived which can have a negative impact on performance, critical thinking and may lead to health problems. Sleep is important because it has a determining role in your mental and physical health, along with the quality of life (â€Å"How Much Sleep is Enough†, 2012). The purpose of the research is to enlighten the world at large that it’s important that we receive the proper amount of sleep to avoid depreciation in our ability t o problem-solve, think critically and remember adequately. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODOLOGY This study will be a simple ex-post facto design. Simple ex-post facto design methods are quasiexperimental research techniques, which compare preexisting groups on a dependent variable.
